Afternoon at Adair Park

I had the good fortune to recently spend some time at our neighborhood park with a wonderful couple and their two adorable kids. I brought my camera along and snapped a few pictures of these little guys playing in the park!

Oops! Someone bumped their head!

End of Stay-cation!

Well it's been an eventful, restful and wonderful week. Thanks to everyone who has been following my posts! Yesterday I shot some photos at a wedding, compliments of photojournalist Renee Brock. Thanks Renee, for letting me tag along! I can't post those pictures just yet, but I will as soon as I can! In the meantime, please enjoy a few pictures of my friend's baby that I shot a few weekends ago, baby Adair. She's just adorable!

I love this one! Crying babies are pretty cute! (If you are not on an airplane)

Stay-Cation Friday!

Oh my word. I've gotten a couple of days behind. My apologies. Friday we did a lot of house cleaning, had lunch with my sweet grandmother and then had a pumpkin-carving party! Here are some of the pics:

Stay-Cation Wednesday!

Yesterday I was in Carrollton Georgia so I couldn't post my blog entry until today (sorry - I know my millions of fans were on edge last night waiting for this blog post!) .  I was able to convince my family to take me to the Carrollton junk-yard (McKenzie's) to take some pictures...

Then we headed out to pick out some pumpkins for carving, courtesy of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. Check it out:

Stay-Cation: Tuesday!

So today we really didn't do much. At all. I think a lot of movies and TV were watched and I did make a delicious fried fish and homemade cornbread lunch! It was a great stay-cation day! As you can see Andrew worked on his bike a little bit and I did manage to take a few shots of him doing so.

Stay-Cation Monday!

Okay, today was less exciting than the last 2 days - it included a trip to 3 grocery stores (yes -3), a trip to the airport to drop of my parents at 6:30 a.m. and a trip to the dentist. However, we did plant some spinach and lettuce that we picked up at the Oakhurst Community Garden and also enjoyed a lovely breakfast at The Flying Biscuit! The Biscuit is an Atlanta landmark and it was my first time there  -very delicious!

Skull-head Boney-hands!  My annual Halloween decoration!

A rare photo of the photographer - compliments of my wonderful husband!

Today we went to the Atlanta Pride Parade. It was so fun and so colorful - so much to photograph! Here are a few of my favorites!

This one is my favorite!

Stay-Cation: Saturday, Part 2

After the Alzheimer's Walk this morning we headed over to a dedication ceremony for a Habitat for Humanity house! I did take pictures of the dedication ceremony, but the most fun ones are of people working - so here are a few of my favorites!

Putting the finishing touches on the house!

Cookout following the dedication!

Grandchildren of the new home owner.

What a beautiful family for this new home!
