Afternoon with the Grandparents!

Despite evidence to the contrary (see last 2 posts!), I do take photos of other children. But Sebastian is just irresistible and I was lucky enough to get to spend some more time with him, this time at his grandparent's house. It hasn't been that long since our last photo shoot, but it feels like Sebastian has gotten about 10 times faster since then! And maybe cuter too!!

An Afternoon with Sebastian, Part 1

 I recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Sebastian! You may remember this little guy from our initial photo shoot in Piedmont Park with his family, as seen HERE. (The world's cutest monkey). He sure has grown and he sure is fast! Loved taking these pictures, can't wait to do it again soon with his grandparents!

Sebastian took a look outside and decided that was a good place to be.

Asheville Drum Circle!

Recently I went to Asheville with a few friends to celebrate the joy of turning...30. It's not so bad, actually! One of the things that I love about Friday nights in Asheville is the drum circle - anyone from the community can come and play along or dance or watch - it draws quite the crowd each week and is lots of fun. I had a good time capturing some of the movement of the evening (with the exception of the chess player...). 

Baby Atticus!

Do you remember the adorable couple, Brian and Megan from their maternity photo shoot ? Well they welcomed baby Atticus into the world a couple of weeks ago and boy is he precious! Brian and Megan are already AMAZING with him, figuring out when he's hungry, sleepy, needs bouncing down the hall, etc. It was a privilege to be a part of their joy - I can't wait to watch him grow! Thanks Brian and Megan! 

Family

It's no secret that my husband and his sister look a lot alike - when he shaves his beard and they're together it can be downright weird, especially since they are 6 years apart in age! But aren't they just super good looking? I think so. They probably aren't going to like that I posted this, so please don't tell them! 

Fourth Of July

Okay, so I'm a little behind. But honestly, it has been so hot this summer, that I don't think too many people are interested in being outside and especially not in being photographed right now. What could be better than getting your picture made while you're red faced and sweaty? Well, pretty much anything. BUT expect more exciting things to come your way very soon! I just finished a newborn shoot and am looking forward to 2 weddings, another family shoot an engagement shoot and hopefully much much more in the early fall months. So stay tuned and in the meantime, enjoy a few photos from the Fourth of July in Carrollton, GA this year!
