Finster Fest Part 1 - The "Fest" Part

I hope that all of you people out there (at least all nine of my beloved followers, who I wish I could shower with gifts) are familiar with Georgia folk artist Howard Finster - if not, please explore his artwork via Google Image search, etc. It's wonderful stuff! Recently Andrew surprised me with a trip to Paradise Gardens, Finster's home and art world, during Summerville's annual "Finster Fest" event. . It was such a fantastic trip and experience, I would strongly recommend it to anyone! Here are some of my pictures from the festival and pictures from Paradise Gardens will come in part 2!

Oh dear friends and readers, I'm so sorry that I have been a terrible blogger lately! In my defense, many exciting things have been happening.  I started a new job this month, which is terrific for alot of reasons just one of which is that I now have one day off a week so that I can concentrate on doing more photography! Since I've had a few of those days off this month, I have been able to get alot of "businessy" stuff done and also got my new logo finished (do you like it? see above!) and my new website is almost completed too! I'll share a link to my new website as soon as it's ready. In the meantime I now have a business Facebook page, which you can view HERE - if you're a member of Facebook PLEASE "Like" my page!
I know I'm way behind on sharing photos on here - I've done a couple of weddings, a festival, a maternity shoot, and engagement shoot and a newborn shoot that are not yet on here. I may not get quite THAT caught up, but again, check out my Facebook page for the most up-to-date photos and I'll try to get back on the blogging train in the meantime.

Alice & Alex Wedding!

Easter Sunrise Service

Happy Easter! Went to a very lovely Sunrise Service at Glenn memorial UMC on Sunday and was able to get a few good pictures! Enjoy!
