Chimney Rock, North Carolina

Last weekend we went hiking at Chimney Rock, NC. The weather was perfect. Although we missed the height of the fall/leaf color changing season, everything was still beautiful!

Fall

Fall in Georgia has been very bashful this year. It was cold, then hot, then hot, the really really cold then really hot but now it seems that fall has finally started to settle in. Most of the leaves have changed and many have finally fallen. The raking of leaves into paper bags is a little sad to me - there are few things more satisfying that leaping into a pile of fresh leaves or riding your bike through them...but that's probably why people use bags!
