Stay-Cation: Saturday, Part 2

After the Alzheimer's Walk this morning we headed over to a dedication ceremony for a Habitat for Humanity house! I did take pictures of the dedication ceremony, but the most fun ones are of people working - so here are a few of my favorites!

Putting the finishing touches on the house!

Cookout following the dedication!

Grandchildren of the new home owner.

What a beautiful family for this new home!

Johnson Stay-cation week! Saturday - Part 1

That's right folks. It's a stay-cation week for the Johnson household this week! We were hoping to visit one of our dear friends in San Diego this week, but it didn't work out, so we're going to stay in the ATL and have a blast at home! I plan to photograph/blog about our adventures all week, so get ready and check frequently!

It's Saturday - today we woke up REALLY early and went to the Alzheimer's Walk at Atlantic Station:

They gave you flowers to decorate in honor/memory of someone you love who has Alzheimer's Disease.

Some people hard at work decorating their flowers.

The kids loved the flowers!

Our Park Springs Team!

Making the 3 mile trek! Up hills and everything!

The volunteers "planted" our flowers at the beginning and at the end we emptied into a "memory garden" and had to go and look for our flowers!

Found mine! We miss you MomMom!

Habitat for Humanity Build

My husband works for Habitat for Humanity. We stopped by the build site this morning and took a few photos of the Young Adult Faith Build that is going on currently. What a great group of people and what a great looking house!

Keep up the good work everyone!
